Hey! Thanks for checking out my site! My name is Matthew Hicks but I prefer Matt. I came about photography in college. One of my final classes before graduating was an intro into digital arts. I was hooked immediately. From then on I haven't put a camera down. Whether its with a phone, pocket camera, or DSLR I strive to capture as many instances as possible so I can look back upon it later. With such passion I was able to land a job with UCSD media and dabbled a little in film but in the end my camera won out. Ive been freelancing since 2013 but enjoy going out and taking my own photos which you can purchase here on my site.
